Set-Up Technician

Job Description:
  • Uncrate, assemble, install wheels, connect wiring harnesses, and set up equipment according to specifications.
  • Perform product delivery inspections, checking fluid levels, checking overall machine operation.
  • Operate farm and construction equipment safely and efficiently for assembly and moving equipment on lot.
  • Inspect parts, overall equipment, and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Recognize operational issues, reporting major faults to supervisors.
  • Keep accurate production logs, complete work orders, and record necessary documentation.
  • Perform product demonstrations for customers
  • Keep work area clean/orerly
  • Maintain current product knowledge, including features and benefits of equipment.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Manual dexterity, stamina, ability to lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various environments (outdoors, shop environment).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Cleanliness of workspace.
  • Strong communication, ability to problem solve, attention to detail, ability to work with others, adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ability to read schematics, follow step by step instructions, use power tools, basic computer skills, basic ability to operate equipment is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating equipment.
  • Basic tools & toolbox required for this position.
